AI for business in Montérégie

Montérégie is Quebec’s leading manufacturing region by number of jobs, with a strong presence in agri-food and transportation equipment. AI pays off there in managing orders, invoices and traceability. Cogio builds AI agents connected to the ERP, hosted on your premises or in your region.

Let’s talk about your project

Quebec’s largest manufacturing base

The ISQ puts Montérégie’s population at 1,522,372 in 2025. According to the Ministry of the Economy’s profile, the region ranked first for manufacturing jobs, with 111,500, or 12.9% of its jobs against 10.8% for Quebec. The profile notes that these figures still include the La Haute-Yamaska and Brome-Missisquoi RCMs, which moved to Estrie in 2021.

Manufacturing is concentrated mainly in food and transportation equipment. Revenue from goods manufactured in the region reached $35.8 billion in 2023 (preliminary ISQ data). Saint-Hyacinthe, the region’s agri-food hub, had 60,874 residents in 2025.
