Funding
Integrating AI into your ERP may qualify for the ESSOR program, which can cover up to 50% of the diagnostic and the rollout for an eligible SME. Training your teams is eligible under the MFOR program at up to 75%. If tariffs are hitting your sales or your costs, the federal RTRI can fund half of an automation project.
Frequently asked questions
Do we have to change ERP to benefit from AI?
No. The agents connect to your current Odoo through its external API, whether you run it on your own servers, on Odoo.sh or on Odoo Online. On Odoo Online, we first check that your plan includes access to the external API. Your teams keep the same screens and the same rights.
Doesn’t Odoo already have its own AI features?
Recent versions of Odoo offer AI features that rely on outside model providers. Local AI does the same work without your data leaving your infrastructure, and it also knows your documents outside Odoo: procedures, contracts, emails.
Can the AI change or delete accounting entries?
No. The agent creates drafts and suggests actions. Posting, sending a quotation or approving a payment stays with your employees, according to the rights you set in Odoo.
Does our data stay in Quebec?
Yes. The AI model runs on a server installed on your premises or with a Canadian-owned host in Quebec. What matters is the owner’s jurisdiction: a Montreal data centre owned by a U.S. company is still subject to the CLOUD Act.
Where does the project start?
With a diagnostic: we map your processes in Odoo, pinpoint the repetitive tasks that take the most time and put numbers on the expected gains. For an eligible SME, that diagnostic can be funded at 50% under ESSOR stream 1B.
