Use cases
Genius ERP offers a REST API (JSON format, Swagger documentation) that exposes selected, controlled entities. The agents connect to it depending on the configuration and the access provided by the vendor, with a limited-rights account.
Requests for quotes and estimates
A customer request arrives by email with a drawing. The agent extracts quantities, materials and lead times, finds similar parts already estimated and prepares a draft for the estimator to approve.
Supplier bills
The vendor’s PDF is read, matched to the purchase order and the receipt, then prepared for entry. Price or quantity variances are flagged before approval.
Purchasing and delays
Every morning, the agent spots late purchase orders that affect a work order and drafts the follow-up email to the supplier.
Production questions
“Which work orders ship this week and which are waiting on material?” The agent queries Genius ERP and answers with the numbers, sources included.
Confidentiality
Your prices, drawings and margins do not leave the company. Sovereign AI processes them on a server on your premises or with a Canadian-owned host, without handing them to an outside AI service.

Discovery call
Confirm that your need lends itself to a sovereign solution, and set the boundaries of what comes next.
Deliverable: An expert opinion on whether it is worth going further, plus a few recommendations on which implementations to tackle first.
Step 1
Digital diagnostic and plan
Confirm that the project is both buildable and profitable: a map of your processes, your data and your systems, then a dollar value for each use case.
Deliverable: A costed digital plan and a requirements document, often eligible under stream 1B of the ESSOR program.

Step 2
Build and rollout
Implement the selected solutions on your infrastructure: install the server on your premises or with a Canadian-owned host in Quebec, configure your AI, and connect it to your environment and everyday tools.
Deliverable: A working solution in a controlled environment, technical documentation and test suites.

Step 3
Maintenance and support
Keep the solution fast and compliant: monitoring, model updates and a monthly report.
Deliverable: Uptime maintained, a bank of hours for enhancements, and documented governance.
Funding
Integrating AI into your ERP may qualify for the ESSOR program, which can cover up to 50% of the diagnostic and the rollout for an eligible SME. Training your teams is eligible under the MFOR program at up to 75%. If tariffs are hitting your sales or your costs, the federal RTRI can fund half of an automation project.

Does Genius ERP have an API?
Yes. Genius Solutions describes a REST API that exchanges data in JSON, with interactive Swagger documentation and endpoints for selected, controlled entities. That documentation is not public: what the agent can read and write depends on the configuration and the access provided by the vendor, which we check with you during the diagnostic.
Genius ERP already has its own AI. Why add yours?
Genius Solutions presented Genius Cortex, an AI platform built into the ERP, at IMTS 2026. Our agents do not replace it. They help when the work spills outside the ERP (emails, supplier PDFs, drawings, other software) and when you want the model to run on your premises rather than in an outside service.
Are you a Genius Solutions partner?
No. Cogio is an independent firm. We work with your instance and your access, and with the vendor when needed, without touching your licence agreement.
Does our data stay in Quebec?
Yes. The AI model runs on a server installed on your premises or with a Canadian-owned host in Quebec. What matters is the owner’s jurisdiction: a Montreal data centre owned by a U.S. company is still subject to the CLOUD Act.

With a diagnostic: we map your processes in Genius ERP, pinpoint the repetitive tasks that take the most time and put numbers on the expected gains. For an eligible SME, that diagnostic can be funded at 50% under ESSOR stream 1B.
